Biography
Nick's bright red sock have been a feature of football at Merton/Mansfield for a good few seasons now. He formed a particularly good partnership in previous seasons with the also leggy Fred Price. He now pairs up with the slightly less tall Chris Lloyd - good things are expected.
His specialities are his famous sliding tackles where his legs seem to extend a couple of foot to reach the ball out of no where.
His no nonsense defending is often likened to the great Tony Adams. He has even been compared to the even greater Jean-Alain Boumsong!
