Biography
Holmes put in consistently good performances as a wing-back last term. Despite his dogged dedication to defending the Mansfield/Merton goal winning him many plaudits last season Rory's unassuming contribution to the side makes him the prime-candidate for unsung-hero status... that is until he gets into the curry-house and pulls off outlandish pennying technique.
Rory has been in sensational form this season so far, being a key factor in our mean defence. He has also developed a knack of putting in the occasional marauding run and "You've been framed" goal. Rory can hardly be described as anything less than a fantastic asset to the set-up at Mansfield/Merton.
